Jira-inspired project management platform with granular role-based access control. The application supports multiple user roles (admin, manager, user) with company, project, and team hierarchies. Permissions are enforced app-wide through guards and directives that control visibility of UI elements based on role and permission sets. Users create tasks on projects, managers build teams and assign work, and everyone collaborates through a Kanban board with real-time synchronization via Socket.io and Redis — every status change, comment, and assignment is reflected instantly for authorized users. The platform includes a second-accurate persistent time tracker that survives logouts and page refreshes, an internal messaging system, task comments with threaded replies, and comprehensive reporting. Higher roles can monitor live user activity, view tracked hours, and generate reports segmented by user, team, project, or company with actionable insights. A full invoicing system handles billable hours and client billing.
